Dr. Orton grew up in Oregon and earned his Bachelor Degree at Brigham Young University. After graduating with a Doctor of Medicine degree from Oregon Health and Sciences University, Dr. Orton completed a pathology residency at the University of Colorado at Denver where he also received specialized training in Transfusion Medicine.  Dr. Orton has practiced with Associates of Pathology for many years and has fulfilled a variety of responsibilities for the medical staff. He is Board Certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. Currently Dr. Orton serves in a number of roles for Associates of Pathology and is the Medical Laboratory Director for Ogden Regional Medical Center.
